So, Artizara is having a huge sale and I'd like to get 2 Abayas to add to my collection. These days I ask myself if I will ever be an Abaya girl. I remember how I used to picture Abayas as being for middle-aged women! How ignorant was I back then. Now, I can't help but admire the beauty of Abayas and can't wait to add more to my closet!!! For now, I only wear Abayas when I go to the mosque, but Inshallah I guess the more I get, the more I will start wearing them, plus the hubby loves it.... These are my Top choices from Artizara and the good thing is they're only $99 a piece!
#1 I love the color & cut on this one!
#2 What I like on this one is the color and the design with the sequins and thread work!!
#3 The linear mirror work is amazing on this one
#4 Not really an abaya, more like a dress. You can tell I love pink....
#5 For a more casual look....
So go ahead, cast your vote... Which ones do you like? #1, # 2, #3, #4, #5? Are you an Abaya girl? Where do you get your Abayas? Tell us more about your Abaya style!!!!

I really like #2, i like #3 but if it was in different collor, so I say #1 and #2.
Im definitely an abaya girl. That's all I ever wear because they are comfortable, simple, and an instant outfit when you have those I don't know what to wear days. Most of my abayas are black but I have a pink (desert-rose to be exact), olive green, and a dark purple. Most of them were gifts from my ex-hubby which I bought from stores in NY.
Desertstore.com has really nice abayas in a lot of different colors other than black. Im not too sure of others but Im still doing my research on other stores, asking friends about them before I order. Happy shopping :)
Salam
the green one is beautiful
They're really beautiful!
I love #1 and #3
enjoy shopping !!
I used to think also that abaya are for middle age women...but my neighbor who is Egyptian wears them on weekends and she has the fiercest abayas and hijas I've ever seen
I like #1 one I think it is a very fun color and it is very pretty. : )
love the first one the most!!!
im an abaya girl & love wearing them. i was like you too - thinking they were only for old women. how wrong i was....
oooh i love one, two and three!!! two and three would have to be my favorites though. i'll have to go have a look at this site now, these were so nice!
masya allah! they beautiful! i would suggest #2 and #3. but of coz, u should check on the fabric and make sure u're really comfortable wearin em. :)
I vote for #1 as well, its pretty and can go with the peachy color scarf or yellow or that other stripe color.
I love, love, love number 1 and 2... but all the abayas are beautiful
i don't like #4, i like everything else
It looks like almost everyone likes #1, that will be top on my list! For the 2nd one, Im still debating between #2
As salamu alaykum
masha'Allah those are pretty :)
I'm more of a "dark-wearer" I wear darker colors...I also bought my abayas from stores in NY (NYC) and I was thinking of exchanging them sometime this week or next week..
The blue is too short, one sleeve is tighter than the other, the black one is too short, the black with gray lining is beautiful masha'Allah but everytime I walk with it, it flaps and gets caught on my legs and it gives me that "tripping" feeling and it's very embarrassing to slightly trip on an abaya.. people will think I'm a newbie and also they will think it's hard for me to wear abaya which is not true!
I'm also considerign exchanging a few hijabs I bought there and hardly wore because it just not the ones I wear anymore, I had square hijabs because I used to wear them tied behind my head (I just started hijab that time) and now I find it rather difficult to wear square ones..
I like 2 and 3 the best! I'm not much of an abaya girl though so I'm not sure if you should really listen to me!! lol!!
Joyce,
Well the good thing is you get to go to a physical store and buy your abayas! I unfortunately don't have that luxury! I'm jaleous...
Muslimah,
Im falling for # 2 as well :)
Im ALL for #2 !
Im DEFINITELY an abaya girl. I live in Dubai so you can imagine! Alhamdulilah, i dont hafta shop online for them since we have here LOADS of abaya shops and tailors. I wear black abayas with colored sequins and laces and crystals.
PS- I would call of those pics "jalabiyas" not abayas and id wear my abaya over them.
habayeb,
Luckyy you!! I'm jaleous!!!!!!! Could you please clarify the difference between abaya and jalabiya so I can get it right next time. Im always confused with these lol
any decision made?? :)
