We had a snow storm
We had a snow storm that started on sunday evening. Woke up yesterday to find a white blanket covering everything in town. That allowed me to work from home and be lazy. I'm back in the office this morning though and it's freezing outside. My allergies are also back,I'm sneezing, my nose is running and I just wanna sleep.I'm hoping to survive the day with an unfrozen brain. Have a great day wherever you are!

Yeh everything is covered with snow, they've been cleaning it up though, so it looks better now. You should visit when it's snowing, I'm sure once will be enough and you will hate it :)

Pretty snowy shots,You know what sis?,this is a common sight in Cleveland,it snows a lot,and people here always prepared for snow clean up with bags and trucks of salt.But coming from tropics,this kinda weather is tough for us,thinking of moving out soon.Inshallah.
Take care of the allergies,a bad episode of sore throat got me down too last week.Couple of bowls of hot vegetable chicken soup and a few cups of green tea did make me feel lot better,you must try it too:)

I know it must be worse down there. The thing is DC is never prepared for snow and when we get a major storm,it takes time for them to clean the roads. It wasn't that bad this time though, they cleaned up pretty fast. Thanks for the tips on the soup. I will try that. I had green tea this morning.
well, that´s how it looks like here in sweden! but now atlast it is starting to melt! we will see if it will be gone before we get more snow!
Wow! Yeah, a few of my co-workers are in DC currently for a conference and are caught in the snow. Even here in TN, we got more snow than usual. It's crazy!
Everything looks beautiful and quiet when it's covered with snow. It makes life messy for us, but it's still a beautiful sight.

beautiful photos! I took the day off and stayed indoors reading. Back to work today, and it's freezing but I think we're getting used to it. Not as brutal as it was a month ago. Warm weather can't come soon enough though.

I am so jealous! We haven't seen a real snowstorm here in Texas since 1985 when I made my last snowman. Hopefully your feeling a little better Hijabee. I love Claritin-maybe it will also work wonders for you. Much love!
Beautiful pictures! I'm a little jealous because in Colorado [supposedly a cold/snowy state] we have no snow and its 60 degrees today. I love snow [as long as there are no accidents/injuries of course] Be Safe!
Hey! I know, it's been a while. Winter here hasn't been so bad actually. We've had more ice storms than snowstorms this year.
But you never know, we had our second worst snowstorm ever this time last year... So, we are still waiting...
I get the chills just by looking at the pictures. The weather here has been crazy too, thunderstorms alternating with sunny days. Take care of yourself, alright! ^^

I live in MD and enjoyed being snowed in, quite frankly. lol!
Sorry about your allergies. DC is horrible for people with allergies. One of my closest friends suffers badly especially in the summer.
